Here you can find the free pattern for a crochet wine bottle hat and scarf set.
This is a great way to cover a wine bottle with crochet and give a gift with its own unique wrapping.
This pattern is written in both USA and UK terms.

These cute little crochet wine bottle accessories are the perfect quick little make, that can jazz up a wine bottle perfect for the holidays.
The crochet wine bottle hat and scarf set are a great alternative to a crochet wine bottle cover in that they are quicker and take a lot less woll, but will transform a bottle into a happy festive make.
There are other ways you can decorate a wine bottle too, like a crochet wine bag or a crochet tote bag, but these are so quick and simple there are definitely up there in terms of novelty valve.
There are so many options in terms of colour combinations you could make a whole set to give to different family members.

What do you need to make a crochet wine bottle hat and scarf set?
I’ve used scrap yarn, these are perfect for the using up left overs.
I’ve used a DK yarn, and 4 mm hook, but you could easily use these with a 5.5mm and worsted weight yarn, but they would be slightly bigger.

How long does it take to make a crochet wine bottle set?
These are super quick. The hat takes about 20 minutes including the pompom, sewing the ends and finishing it off.
Then scarf, takes slightly longer, but you are still only looking at an hour per hat and scarf set.
