I’m am so so so excited to be writing this post.
I’ve had to keep this top secret for months now, and finally, the day has arrived that I can share my new design and my new crochet along with you.
You can make this wonderful colourful Bold and Bright blanket in just 7 weeks.

What is a crochet-a-long I hear you ask? Basically we all make the blanket at the same time. I release patterns every week and set you “Homework” to make a number of squares too. The end of the project – you will have your very own Geo-Boho blanket.

So, what do you need to know?
The Yarn
Well, the yarn we are using is the amazing Boho Spirit by Cygnet Yarns.

Just look at these amazing colours? How could you not just want to squish this lovely yarn!
But, I hear you ask, there’s a colour missing – the white? Yep, how exciting is this, I asked them to make me a white so I could make this blanket!
And they did! A LIMITED EDITION – Pure! Just for me (and you guys doing this CAL) How amazing is that!!!

You can get your yarn pack here:
Deramores
Wool Warehouse
Snufflebean Yarn
Of there are of course other suppliers too, but you will need:
6 balls of Pure, and 2 balls of each colour, Indigo Azalea, Amber, Misty, Peacock and Quartz (18 balls).
Other things?
Scissors
Size
The finished blanket measures 200x 130cm. Yep, you will make a huge blanket in just 7 weeks. You could make it bigger or smaller, just make more squares!
This is the perfect project, for crocheting together on a cold autumnal night!

Skills
The absolute beauty of this project is that it is beginner-friendly. If you can make a US Double / UK treble crochet, this is perfect to teach you some new skills.
Each week you will learn a new skill, and then as there are more squares to make, you get to practice these skills.
So don’t be daunted, it’s perfect for expanding your crochet knowledge week by week!
If you’ve ever read FPTr, and thought – no way, well by the end of this project you’ll doing them like a pro!
Videos
Yes – I have filmed Videos for every square, so if you can’t read a pattern you’ll still be able to make this great blanket!

You can pin it here:

When?
So to give you a chance to get your yarn, part 1 will be released on the 23rd September.
Then one square every week on Mondays until the final part on the 4th November

I love seeing all your makes, as will the lovely people over at Cygnet yarns.
