Crochet, the camera and summer is finally in the garden!

I was without a posh camera for a few weeks.  The good news is that finally I have a new one – it’s a Canon 70D, and it makes a posh clicking noise when I take a photo!

It’s got wifi to let me hopefully get on Instagram, but then I discovered that isn’t an option.  So now I have to wifi to my phone – which will then let me get onto Instagram….. It’s a palarva!

But on the plus side – the photos it takes are pretty amazing when I point and focus it in the right place!

So my shark pattern is still getting lots of hits and I’ve made a video with the help of the little people in my life – but I still need to edit one piece – So I’ll get on the case with that shortly.  A lady has made one – and sent me a picture to my Facebook page – it’s brilliant!

Crochet – I’ve been making a pink cat in the garden using the lovely Yarnart Begonia.  I’ve got an owl to make in white.

I’ve been covering jars with this great pattern   – all of the above are for my sisters Wedding. thumb_IMG_2681_1024

We went strawberry picking after school, had great fun munching a few, then jumping around on hay bales.

The dogs had a lovely walk with friends – and I’m amazed how the grasses in the field are transforming how it looks.

But I have to say – with this heat wave in the UK – I just want to sit in my garden and enjoy it!

  1. English bees are so much fatter and cuter than our Aussie bees! I adore your garden. So many beautiful perennials. What’s your cameras name? 😉
